Oslo, Norway – The first-ever pensioners festival in Norway, dubbed “Pensionfest,” was held on September 25, 2023, in Oslo. Hosted by Nanabea Oforiwaa Budu at a local community church, the event was a vibrant, day-long celebration dedicated to honoring and entertaining the country’s aged pensioners.

The festival featured a diverse array of musical performances, with one of the highlights being The Incredible Choir from Uganda. This family choir delivered a memorable performance that resonated with the audience.

Pensionfest provided a platform for pensioners to come together, socialize, and enjoy a day filled with music and camaraderie. The event underscored the importance of recognizing and celebrating the contributions of older adults within the community.
